Non-stick coatings are great for frying with little to no fat. Nothing burns, which additionally facilitates cleaning. Non-stick is slightly more sensitive to scratches and wear. It is therefore recommended to use only plastic or wooden cutlery. The coating – originally developed by NASA – shows high heat resistance and low friction.
